OHIO PIRATE CON SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY – JULY 25 – 12pm – 8pm - Bazaar and Camp Site will be open and available for vendors to check in, get organized and set up – Event is RAIN or SHINE
6pm – 11pm – VIP WELCOME RECEPTION at THE STRAND BACKSTAGE LOUNGE – 220 S. Front St., Fremont, Oh 43420 that will feature a delicious Pre-Order Blue Plate Special Dinner, cash bar, music and official welcome and last minute notes by Bob and Beth Turner and their Crew. Relaxed atmosphere and dress – Pirate Gear always welcome! (Details on this TBA soon).
8pm – 10pm - SUNSET KAYAK on the Fremont Reservoir - $20.00 pp - includes, kayak, life jacket paddle and help launching - This is a relaxed activity and has a safety observer always present during the sunset event. Minimal kayaking skills needed. Relax and enjoy the evening. Eagles nest near this location too!
SATURDAY – JULY 26 – 7am – 11pm
7am – 10:45am – Vendors may check in for Bazaar and Camp Sites and set up their booths.
10:45am – Ribbon Cutting for the Ohio Pirate Con main entrance by dignitaries.
11am – 6pm – Nautical Bazaar is open to the public where merchants, entertainment, stage shows, guest celebrities, daring games of skill, family. activities, treasure quest and food and fun were pirates and all nautical friends join forces!
3pm – 2 - Hour Sandusky River Kayak with a Pirate Trip.
6pm – 8pm – Optional Pirate Captains Feast at the JEWEL BALLROOM in downtown Fremont.
6pm – 10pm – Optional Fremont Speedway Pirate Themed Race (Discount for Con Attendees).
8pm – 11pm Downtown Fremont Amphitheater free entertainment featuring “AK AFFAIR”.
8pm – 10pm – Optional Sunset with a Pirate Kayak Event.
8pm – 11pm – Pirate Pub Crawl – Prices to include shuttles to 6 local locations with drink specials, mucnhies and 30-minute stops at each (Limited to the first 50 Pirates 21 & over that sign up – ID’s required).
SUNDAY – July 27 – 10am – 5pm
10am – 11am – Parade (Roger Young Park line-up through downtown Fremont to Fairgrounds).
11am – 5pm – Nautical Bazaar is open to the public where merchants, entertainment, stage shows, guest celebrities, daring games of skill, family activities, treasure quest and food and fun where pirates and all nautical friends join forces! (Vendors have early access at 9am).
12pm – 2pm – Optional Pirate Lunch (Details TBA soon).
2pm – 4pm – Optional Pirate Poker Run Event (Details TBA soon).
3pm - 2 - Hour Sandusky River Kayak with a Pirate Trip. (Details TBA soon).
